HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. There will be a senior class meeting today Friday September 20 during flex in Mr. Coon’s room.
  2. Homecoming dance date request forms are available in the office.  A student requesting to bring a date who does not attend Oakland, Kansas, or Shiloh must have a form completed and returned to the office by Tuesday, October 1.
  3. Any FCCLA student interested in getting community service hours and participating in a great volunteer event, please be sure to sign up to work at the Hindsboro Pork Chop Dinner on Saturday September 21st from 4-8 pm at the Hindsboro Civic Center." You can work as much or as little as you wish, but the help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. The FCCLA meeting for Friday has been moved to Monday September 23rd during Flex Period. Be sure to let Mrs. Pendergast-White know if you are planning on running for an officer position. We will also discuss upcoming leadership events.
  5. There will be a brief mandatory PSAE meeting for current juniors and sophomores to be held today Friday, September 20th during Flex.  Sophomores are to report to the library and juniors are to report the library to the student lounge following attendance.
  6. A Josten’s representative will be here on September 23 to collect class ring orders.  Please report to the student lounge following attendance if you wish to place an order for a class ring.
  7. On Tuesday, September 24 the MacMurray College representative will be here to speak to any interested seniors during Flex period.  Please sign up outside of Mrs. Nelk’s room.
  8. The football team plays at Decatur LSA today, Friday, September 20 at 7:00.  Bus time is 3:50.
  9. The volleyball team plays at Effingham tomorrow, Saturday, September 21 at 8:00.  Bus time is 5:15.
  10. The golf team plays at Paris tomorrow, Saturday, September 21 at 8:30.
  11. The cross country team has a meet at Tuscola (Wimple Park) tomorrow, Saturday, September 21 at 10:00.  Bus time is 8:00.

 

 

LAKECREST ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

  1. Girls on the Run will meet every Tuesday and Thursday in the Lake Crest All-Purpose Room from 3:30-4:50.
