Wednesday’s Lunch:  Cheeseburger, pickles, potato salad, jello/fruit, and milk

HIGH   SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. The 2024 Prom Court nominations opened to juniors and seniors on Monday, April 15 and will close on Tuesday, April 16. Please check your email and VOTE. 
2. Boys HS Baseball game vs Westville on Tues, April 16 is cancelled. There will be practice instead from 4-5:50 in Shiloh.
3. Girls HS Softball @ Oblong on Tues, April 16 at 4:30. Bus time 2:30pm.
4. HS Track (boys only) @ Cumberland on Tues, April 16 at 4:30pm. Bus time 2pm.
5. Boys Baseball vs Cerro Gordo/Bement on Wed, April 17 @ Shiloh at 4:30pm.
6. HS Track @ Paris on Wed, April 17 at 4pm. Bus 2:45pm.
7. Post prom permission slips and waivers deadline extended to Mon, April 22. Both can be given to Janet in the office.
8. Prom Date Request forms are available in the office. They are due back in the office by April 25^th.
9. The Oakland Pageant will be held May 26th. Practices will be held on Monday and Wednesdays until the date of the pageant. If you are interested in being a part of the pageant there is an informational meeting on Wednesday, April 17th. Little Miss meeting will be held at 6 pm. The Jr Miss and Miss meeting will be held at 6:30 pm. If you are interested in attending or would like more information please reach out to Mrs. Ratliff at makena.ratliff@oakland5.org.
10. Oakland High School Student Council is hosting a blood drive on Thursday, April 18 in the student Lounge 1p-5p. Please register to donate at the following link:  https://login.bloodcenter.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/122231

LAKE CREST ANNOUNCEMENTS

11. There is a sign-up sheet in the office for the 2024-2025 Jr High Cheer season. This is for incoming 6^th-8^th grade students.
12. Jr High Track @ Tuscola on Tues, April 16 at 4pm. Bus time 2pm.
