HS Boys Basketball Pre Summer Meeting

Coach Albaugh presented the first Tri-County Coach of the Quarter award to Coach TJ Blake for his extreme humility and dedication to the TCT Football program.

Our 1st graders had the most egg-citing learning experience this week! 🐣💛

After patiently observing, learning, and caring for our eggs, we are so excited to share that 6 adorable chicks have officially hatched—one for each of our 1st graders!

Throughout this hands-on project, students explored the life cycle of a chicken, learned about responsibility, and experienced the magic of new life right in our classroom. Watching the chicks hatch has been unforgettable, and the joy on their faces says it all!

We are so proud of our little scientists and the care they showed every step of the way. 💕

Oakland CUSD#5 is proud to announce plans to participate in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to children 18 and under free of charge. The Jr High Track Meet that was scheduled at Arcola today (4/2/26) has been canceled. There will not be any Jr High Track practice today.

The Healthy Heroes are in the house! Our students are having a blast with the Kickstart Car today-getting some fresh air, and staying active. A huge thank you to SBLHC for bringing this awesome experience to our school 🏃‍♀️✨
