As EIU alumni, Mr. Pugh and Mrs. Huffman were happy to spend the day with Golden Apple Scholars at their Summer Institute, which included mock interviews and a community fair where we spoke to future teachers about all the wonderful things rural schools can offer!

Day 4 in DC we visited Mount Vernon, The US Army Museum, and the National Archives! We all made it home it home safe and it's safe to say everyone had a wonderful time.
Day 3 in D.C. we did a little bit of everything with over 20k steps to show for it! We visited Arlington National Cemetery, Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum, Jefferson, MLK & FDR memorials, and then spent the evening in Old Alexandria.
