Summer work is in full swing! Here are some progress photos on the gym renovations! We are very excited for you to see the transformation!




Our FREE Summer Meal Program will begin Monday June 2 from 11:00-12:30. Each student will receive a ready to eat lunch and a sack breakfast for the next morning. We are asking guardians and students to enter through DOOR E, on the backside of the school. Friendly reminder, families received an email through TeacherEase with a description letter of the Summer Lunch Program, June Lunch/Breakfast Menu, and Parent Forms. If you have any questions or need assistance, staff have paper copies in the front office and are more than happy to assist!
We hope to see ALL students for FREE lunch on Monday June 2 from 11:00-12:30.

Congratulations to the Lake Crest and Oakland High School students who made the honor roll for the 4th quarter and 2nd semester.



Well, it's a wrap! The junior high students ended their 2025-2026 school year with a day of play on Wednesday. They broke a sweat on the inflatables in the All-Purpose Room and cooled down with an afternoon at the park. A day full of many smiles.









On Tuesday, May 20th, thirty students from junior high participated in the fourth quarter No Punch Party, which is an incentive for students who have excelled at responsibility in the fourth quarter. They celebrated their success by watching the Minecraft movie, having a pizza party, and enjoying some play time at Morton Park in Charleston.








For their eighth grade class trip, the Class of 2029 went to St. Louis on Monday, May 19th, to celebrate the end of their primary schooling. They enjoyed spending time together at the St. Louis City Museum, Amp Up Action Park, and The Spaghetti Factory.











Our Lake Crest students had a pretty epic last day of school! Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible,from the Carnival Sponsors to the PTO, our kids are lucky to have you in our community!











This school year has officially come to an end. We want to thank all students, staff, families, and community members for a fantastic school year!
I wanted to remind everyone that we will be offering FREE lunch and breakfast to ALL our students the month of June, Monday through Thursday. All families are encouraged to utilize the FREE Summer Meal Program.

The First Annual Titan Track Jamboree!





Good afternoon,
Due to a funnel cloud being spotted near the school during dismissal, administrators notified Oakland PD and had students and staff take cover in the building. Buses were delayed leaving for about 15-20 minutes to make sure that the storm had cleared the area.

X is for eXchange teachers day! K-5 Teachers swapped rooms for a period this morning!







We celebrated the class of 2025 at last night's Graduation! Best of luck to these students on their next adventure; we will miss them at OHS!


To wrap the great news from the Jr High Track Meet: Both 4x400 relay teams earned a spot on the podium! Adlee McQueen 5th in the 800m race.
Fun fact: All 11 Titan athlete came home with a medal from the State Track Meet! #greatdaytobeatitan
