Oakland Schools will be back in session tomorrow, Thursday, 1/29/26. Road conditions have improved, but parts of the rural areas are still not ideal. Our buses will be taking it slower than usual. Expect delays in pick-up and drop-off schedules.
Students who drive to school should also plan to leave a little earlier than normal and drive slowly and safely. It will be extra cold in the morning, so please bundle up!
Parents, especially those in rural areas, if you feel that your student cannot make it to school safely on Thursday, please contact the school and let us know. Your child's absence will be excused.
We are still forecasted to see possible extreme low wind chills. If your child needs a ride, please call the school from 7:00-7:30 a.m., and we will ensure a ride is provided. Furthermore, students picked up in the morning will be provided with a ride home. We do NOT want any students walking.

Tri County Boys advance in the LPC tournamentand will play Saturday 1/24/26 at Deland Weldon. They will play at 11:30 vs Sullivan.
