Launch the media gallery 1 playerDuring a special meeting of the Oakland CUSD #5 Board of Education on Wednesday, August 5, the board took action to approve the Oakland CUSD #5 Reopening & Remote and Blended Remote Learning Day Plan.
The plan discusses the two learning options families have to start the 2020-2021 school year, the school day structure, safety measures, and other topics related to the start of the upcoming school year.
Families are encouraged to read the plan so they have a full understanding of what the district has put into place to start the year.
Families have until 3:00 pm on Wednesday, August 12th to inform the district if they plan for their child(ren) to start the school year in the remote by choice option. Families opting for remote by choice will remain, at minimum, in this format until the end of the first nine weeks grading period
