This is my 22nd year of teaching and my 10th year at Oakland. This will be my seventh year teaching in the library. Before moving to the library, I taught for three years in 5th grade.  Prior to coming to Oakland, I taught 1st and 4th grades in the Shiloh School District, and 3rd grade in the Tuscola School District.  I received my teaching certificate in 2000 from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, and I earned my B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana University in 1992. I have been married to my husband, Keith, for 29 years. We have two married children: Grace (Justin) and Doug (Katie). We have two grandsons: Atticus and Brooks.
