HIGH   SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. There is a sign-up sheet in the office for any student 15yrs and older interested in being a lifeguard at the Oakland Pool this summer.
2. Church lunch for today is tacos, nachos w/cheese sauce, and a dessert.
3. There will be a Bass Fishing meeting during Flex on Fri, March 1^st in the Student Lounge. A sign-up sheet is in the office.
4. Musical read through begins Thurs, Feb 29 from 6:30-8pm in Mr. Turner’s room. Practice begins starting Mon, March 4^th 6-8pm.
5. Winter Sports Banquet for HS Boys/Girls Basketball & Cheer will be held on Fri, March 8 @ 7:30 in Shiloh. Desserts will be provided.
6. The Social Science Club will have their spring dinner and movie night on Thursday, March 14th starting at 6:30.  Students must have a permission slip signed and turned in to participate.  Mr. Fleck will get permission slips out once a movie has been picked.

LAKE CREST ANNOUNCEMENTS

7. Read Across America Dress Up Days: Wed: Dress like your favorite book character, Thurs: Crazy Hat Day, and Fri: Funny Sock Day.
8. Jr High Boys awards night is on Wed, Feb 28 from 6-8pm at the EIU Bowling Alley.
9. 8^th grade Volleyball Regionals @ Chrisman on Sat, March 2^nd at 12:30pm. Bus time 10am.
10. Jr High Track sign-up sheet is in the office. This is for grades 6, 7 and 8. Practice begins Mon, March 4^th @ Oakland 4-5:50pm.
11. Freshman Orientation in the library on Tuesday, Feb 27 at 6pm for all current 8^th graders and families.

13. Spring Picture Day is scheduled for Fri, March 22. Only grades prek-5^th will be photographed. You can order online at www.inter-state.com using code 85102WF. Only those that have preordered will be photographed. Online ordering closes at 11:59pm the night before picture day.
